There are no private residential centres for the treatment of alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling addiction or sex addiction in New Brunswick. Ledgehill is the closest residential treatment centre for most New Brunswick residents, and is easy to reach.
For those New Brunswick residents who are unable to access an addiction treatment program in a private centre such as Ledgehill, there are some government services which may be of interest. The provincial website has a useful addiction FAQ page which answers many questions about addiction generally and gives advice as to when it is appropriate to seek help.

New Brunswick offers a hotline for help with gambling addiction (1-800-461-1234). The hotline is answered by health professionals and provides callers with information on gambling addiction by providing written literature and/or referrals to counseling services. Information about meeting times and locations is also provided.
New Brunswick also has some capacity for short-term residential programs. The addiction centres in Campbellton and Saint John offer 21-day and 28-day programs. Those seeking a program with a longer duration would need to consult a private provider such as Ledgehill.
