Charles Bower and Pauline Murray, Executive Directors
As chief executive officers, we oversee all of the daily operations, ensuring the quality of care and treatment provided at Ledgehill is the very best. We are committed to bringing to our clients the respect and care that they need to heal, and the experiences that will allow them to take their life to the next level.
Caroline, Clinical Director, RGN, RMN.
Caroline has over 30 years experience of general and psychatric nursing. Most recently, Caroline worked in a residential rehab centre for the treatment of alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling, sex addiction and codependency. She is aware of the importance of having staff that are not only highly trained and qualified, but who exhibit the qualities of compassion and care for this client group. Caroline has been privileged to witness how the holistic approach to care of those suffering with addictions can bring about a transformational experience that enables individuals to reclaim their lives.
Shannon, Senior Counsellor, BA, MC, CCC, RCT-C.
Shannon brings to Ledgehill several years of clinical experience in addiction and mental health. As our senior counsellor and a part of the Ledgehill team, she knows the importance of evidence-based programming in relation to our best practices for our clients. Shannon knows the significance of healing the whole person.
Vicki, Counsellor, M Ed PhD
Dr Vicki is a graduate of Acadia University (M.Ed. In Counselling) and University of Toronto (PhD in Teacher Development) with over fifteen years of counselling experience related to addiction, trauma and family violence. She is a fully certified counselor with the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals in the field of sexual addiction. Using a wide variety of therapeutic techniques in her work, including cognitive restructuring, narrative therapy, guided imagery, dream work and other experiential as well as psycho-educational modalities, she has successfully assisted her clients in finding their way to recovery.
Colleen, Recreation and Complementary Therapy Coordinator BRM
Yoga Practitioner and Massage Practitioner. Colleen’s years of experience working with many levels of wellness in organizations and families brings to our clients a passion for providing a well-rounded program. Her wide-ranging knowledge of the importance of having a healthy body is seen in her gentle yoga classes, hiking/walking outings, exercise programs and massages.
Patty, Program Assistant
Patty grew up in Labrador where many of her experiences gave her the understanding and skills to work with people with addictions. Patty gained the insights to learn how to make better choices in her life through the 12-step program and from those who are supportive of AA. Patty brings a combination of her love and experience of cooking, her wonderful smile and sense of humour, and her 15 years of sobriety to our clients at Ledgehill.
Randy, Program Assistant
Randy, originally from Victoria BC, has lived in various locations across Canada. His involvement in the recovery process commenced over 25 years ago during his 33 year military career. He has been involved in all facets of this process and his contribution to our team is a willingness to share his personal experience, strength and hope with those addicts who still suffer.
Howard, BSc (Hon), PDt, CFM.
As a Registered Dietitian and consultant to Ledgehill, Howard brings extensive experience in nutrition counselling, diet therapy and food product development. Howard is a proponent of food as therapy, believing that the right food and lifestyle choices can have a major impact on mental and physical well being.

Bonnie
RN (Psychiatric Nursing), University of Pennsylvania.
Bonnie’s work with groups and individuals as a Cardiac Clinician has given her great insight and expertise around stress management. As a postgraduate in Process Therapy, Bonnie has a private practice that provides extensive work with addictions and recovery. A seasoned journeyer in the healing process of recovery over the past 15 years, Bonnie knows the importance of developing and implementing new skills to take life to the next level.
Meg
As a trained Holistic Therapist from Leslie College and licensed massage therapist, Meg knows the importance of healing the ‘whole person’. Meg’s use of her training as a process therapist combines her love of song and her extensive awareness of body energy. Her 25 years of experience in recovery work has allowed her to find ways to experience the joy of living a full life.
